Municipal Code Compliance Information
Code Compliance Permits that Must be Purchased Prior to Closing
Here is a list of area communities that require Certificate of Compliance permits on residential units when at the time of sale.  Potential buyers in these communities should call for instructions to obtain applications and to set a time for inspections.  Many government agencies move slowly.  Prudent homebuyers will prepare for delays.

Please note that these compliance certificates are seperate from the rental property weatherization (DILHR) certificates.
